Again, there's definitely several tabs here. It'll go right in this indent towards the bottom on your new tail light. Next up, the reverse bulb which is actually in the middle of your factory. Work the wiring into the tail light, line up the tabs, and then clockwise to lock it in. If you're not sure just consult the factory connector on the truck. You wanna make sure that the negative and positive correspond with the negative and positive on your truck. Now, keep in mind there are two ways this can go in. Then we're going to line up this connector. Grab hold of that bulb, remove it and set it to the side, we will not be reusing it. What we're gonna do here is grab that socket and turn it counterclockwise to remove it. Then remove your tail light. Now, before we can get our new tail light installed, we need to transfer over some of the factory sockets. All you need to do is press down on their tabs and pull back to release them. Then you'll see all three connectors on the tail light. Then once you have both bolts removed, grab your tail light and pull it straight back towards you. So, the first step in our uninstall is to grab an 8-millimeter socket and remove the two bolts on the inside of your tail light. So, with that said, let's check out that install. For this install we used an impact gun but a regular hand ratchet will work just fine. It does feature a direct bolt-up and plug-and-play install with no wiring required that can be done in under an hour. And for your money, you are getting an LED tail light with a modern smoked design and a simple plug-and-play install. And speaking of the install, I'm giving this one a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter.
